What Is Routine Maintenance?

Routine maintenance refers to the services you’ll keep up with over the life of your vehicle. These include services like oil changes, brake inspections, and transmission flushes, to name a few. This is by no means an exhaustive list, and you should always consult your owner’s manual and speak with a member of our service team about all the services your Toyota will need.

How Often Should I Visit the Service Center?

While each aspect of maintenance has a different length of time between services, you should probably make time to visit our service center roughly every six months. This is the generally accepted amount of time experts recommend between oil changes, the routine maintenance performed most often.

If you prefer to track your vehicle’s service time by mileage, then you’re looking at roughly 10,000 miles between each oil change.

What Signs Should I Be on the Lookout For?

Whether this is your first vehicle or you’ve simply forgotten the last time you stopped at a service station, there are signs that indicate your vehicle needs service. For example, if your vehicle shudders while idling, it could be a sign it needs an oil change.

Maybe you’ve noticed the brakes squealing when you bring the vehicle to a stop. If so, then your vehicle’s brakes probably need to be inspected.
