Extremely disappointed with the multipoint inspection service. The technician marked off basic checks that were clearly not performed properly. My coolant reservoir was left almost completely empty, and the engine oil level was only filled halfway on the dipstick. Furthermore, a distinct metallic engine noise from the water pump/belt area was completely ignored. A multipoint inspection should catch basic fluid shortages and obvious mechanical noises before handing the keys back to the customer. Unreliable service and poor attention to detail."

Second time that I got my vehicle back and had greasy hand prints all over the front end of my vehicle. Don’t wipe anything down, just gives my vehicle back dirty and greasy. Service people aren’t nice, don’t know how to greet customers and even ask for if they can help them.

Vehicle went in for 10000 service, given 15000 service. Requested to check radio/GPS system when having a conversation. The technician took the vehicle for a 17 mile ride with no one in the vehicle to duplicate. How do you duplicate a conversation if the technician is by himself? Very disappointed- dropped off the car at 9:20 am and was told I’d receive a phone call telling me what was needed but never received a call, Only received an email with numerous recommendations for other work unrelated work that is unnecessary. $205 diagnostic charge is a scam. Reputable shops tell you what is needed for no charge. Don’t bring your car here!

The service was great. The lead up to it was confusing between calling to inquire about detailing and having the AI schedule it even though I told them on the phone I decided not to have. Seems to be working against the customer.

The people at Ira Toyota have always treated me with respect and courtesy since my first Toyota truck bought back in the 1970’s. My current truck, a 2011 Extended Cab Tacoma, bought new off the lot has been my favorite ever since I sold my Toyota T100. It’s the only place I trust for my truck to be serviced.
The service department was nice, but their only offered solution for a rear AC leak in a mid-sized SUV would have cost over $2,700. I already knew exactly where the leak was and what was required to fix it, but they insisted on doing their own diagnosis which couldn’t have taken more than 20 minutes, but cost me $205 (and only confirmed what I knew).
It’s a good car otherwise, but 2019 with almost 90K miles. They never mentioned the other solution, which is an $80 rear AC “block kit” and is a relatively simple job to install.

Nice service waiting area. Took way longer than the promised (3-4 hrs) took 6. I had to find car myself out in a huge lot. They should have valeted my car. I'm 76 years. It's always an excellent experience at Ira Toyota of Danvers. They keep my Toyota Crown running like new. My service manager Alpesh Patel is great and adds a personal touch for appointment scheduling and recommended service. He offers clear explanation of any recommended services. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. There is free coffee, comfortable seating, and TV and a snack bar WiFi service is free and works well. Highly recommended!

Had a disappointing experience with the service department. My vehicle serivce was completed. It took an hour for the service rep to process my paperwork and get out the door. 4 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. Way too long.

Extremely Frustrating Experience
I booked an appointment online at Ira Toyota for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Their own website was offering a discounted rate for booking during the middle of the day, in the middle of the week, so I selected one of those appointment times and planned my day accordingly.
I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment only to be told it would take TWO HOURS for an oil change and tire rotation.

Booked my rav4 in for 8am. 10/8/26 Got there 7.55.am was told it would take around 3 hrs so opted to wait. Eventually left at 3.25PM! Was informed when I asked.wait time totally unacceptable. Given a discount by person who checked me in. However very unhappy with time I had to wait - 7 and 1/2 hours.
Why make an appointment when you have to wait 3 hours for a simple oil change? It makes no sense to me.

IRA Toyota is great, but the waiting time is horrible. I had my appointment scheduled for about a month or so and I waited almost four hours for routine maintenance (with an appointment).
This dealership is excellent. They listen to all your needs and they solve problems. Fabiana the service manager is the highest quality professional. She knows how to treat people with respect and dignity. They know how to repair cars and get things right the first time. I will always bring my Toyota here for service and tepairs.
Technical service has been always good. However car pick up and check out seems to take longer than it should. Often waiting for your person when others are idle. And the others can jump in and check you out.

Great that IRA Toyota sent $17.76 Oil change email coupons. NOT GREAT that it took 3 hours (8AM-11AM) to do the oil change. Then, the vehicle was 3rd in line behind empty cars and blocked to exit...so I had to ask for help to get out!

This was the first time I’ve had a bad experience there. I had an appointment for 7:50 AM; I dropped off my car for maintenance and was told it would be ready in 2–3 hours. They sent me home via Uber, but I didn't get my car back until 5:00 PM—I wasted the whole day waiting. I called twice, but the answer was always that it wasn't ready yet (and just to clarify, it was only for basic maintenance).

I had a 2pm appointment. Got there at 1:50 for just an oil change. They didn't get my truck into the shop to start it till 5:15. I didn't pay and leave till 5:55. Why make the appointment at all? Very disappointed and left irritated.

I asked about car alarms while veering me back and she said it was a safety feature that is always on, well it wasn't always on and she offered no way for me to fix it. Took six hours for an oil change, rotation, and alignment with an appointment. It was only after four hours when they recommended additional services and they weren’t even done the original work, that again, was scheduled. Denise was very nice though!
Great sales. My 2026 Corolla has a window that doesn’t go up/down properly. Twice it has been in and still not fixed. MA lemon law applies once they cannot fix it in 3 tries. I’ll be headed back this week again.

The most disorganized and rudest service I have ever gotten at a dealership. From the intake person who was the most unprofessional at drop off to pick up at the end.
