You can expect big things from this subcompact car when it comes to performance capabilities. Equipped with a 1.5L engine you’ll have 106 horsepower and 103 lb-ft of torque powering your every throttle. Those who hope to get a sportier feel from their sedan will be particularly excited about the drive modes.
Available on the Toyota Yaris, you’ll have your choice of Normal or Sport mode. When Sport mode is selected, you’ll feel variations in your throttle response and steering pattern to help you feel like you’ve just pulled off the racetrack.
On top of a powerful engine fueling your ride, you’ll find it’s possible to travel further distances, too. The 2020 Yaris has an EPA-estimated 32 MPG city and 40 MPG highway.1 This gas mileage makes it possible for you to travel more freely without ever looking back.
2020 Toyota Yaris Interior Dimensions
While the 2020 Toyota Yaris is a subcompact car, you’ll still find spacious interior dimensions to provide maximum comfort for up to five passengers. Not only are these dimensions spacious but front and rear passengers can sit comfortably thanks to the following dimensions:
- Headroom (front/rear): 38.2/36.8 inches
- Legroom (front/rear): 41.9/34.4 inches
- Shoulder room (front/rear): 53.2/50 inches
You’ll also have a roomy cargo area of 13.49 cubic feet to help with weekend ventures and shopping trips. Need a little extra room? Configure the rear seats into a 60/40 split. This allows you to pack both larger and more items into your Toyota Yaris.
Advanced Technology & Safety Features
While on the go you’ll want to stay connected to the world around you. For that reason the 2020 Toyota Yaris comes standard with a 7-inch center touchscreen with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ capabilities. This connective technology lets you pair your smartphone directly to your Yaris in order to access your favorite songs, apps, and even navigation features.
You’ll even be able to select your favorite songs and features hands free thanks to the steering wheel-mounted buttons. This helps you stay even safer behind the wheel.
Speaking of safety, a Low-Speed Pre-Collision System (PCS) uses front-mounted technology to constantly scan the front of your vehicle. If the system detects an object has crossed into your range, you’ll receive an audio or visual alert warning you of this potential danger. If, however, there’s no reaction to this alert, the system can step in and provide gentle brake pressure. Thanks to the standard Low-Speed Pre-Collision System you’ll feel a little more confident when traveling behind the wheel.
