3,500-pound towing capacity
37.6 cubic feet of cargo room
Toyota Remote Connect
7 or 8 inch display screen
Lane Tracing Assist
Performance Specs
The 2019 Toyota RAV4 has lots of performance features that give you an effortless ride both on- and off-road. It comes with a Dynamic Force 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that’s mated to an 8-speed direct-shift automatic transmission for ideal shifting on the road.
The RAV4 also offers a Dynamic Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive (AWD) with Rear Driveline Disconnect. This system will send 50% of engine torque to the rear wheels for optimum traction on slippery surfaces. When AWD isn’t needed, the Rear Driveline Disconnect system will transmit the driving force to the front wheels.
This disconnect system features the world’s first ratchet-type dog clutches on the front and rear wheel shafts. The clutches stop the driveshaft’s rotations, which is how the driving force gets transmitted to the front wheels. This results in a significant reduction in energy loss along with an improved miles per gallon rating.
Towing Capacity & Drive Modes
Since its powerful performance under the hood, the Toyota RAV4 has a max 3,500-pound towing capacity. This towing capacity is ideal for whatever equipment you need to hitch along for work or leisure, providing you the best of both worlds.
To make matters even better, you can elevate your commute further with enhanced driving modes. Whether you’re towing a trailer behind you or want to increase your efficiency, they have you covered.
Sport Mode – This feature provides enhanced acceleration for a thrilling drive no matter where you’re heading.
ECO Mode – Elevate your fuel efficiency for the most economical ride with this mode.
Normal Mode – Perfect for everyday driving, this mode features an ideal blend of high fuel efficiency and powerful performance.
Exterior Dimensions
The latest Toyota RAV4 model shows other SUVs who’s boss through its brawny new look. It has a large, trapezoidal grille that’s similar to the Tacoma. Plus, each body panel has a sophisticated twist, with a chiseled appearance that’s a perfect blend of athleticism and charisma.
A longer wheelbase and wider front and rear tracks provide a stable and confident driving platform. With the stronger front end comes a more dynamic profile, robust shoulders, and optional 19-inch wheels, all of which make for a powerful stance that’s ready to tackle any road.
It also has a compact body with the following dimensions:
Wheelbase: 105.9 inches
Overall Length: 180.9 inches
Overall Width: 73 inches
Overall Height: 67 inches
The side mirrors are lower on the doors for increased forward visibility around the A-pillar. Side visibility is increased, too, thanks to a lower beltline. Also, rear-diagonal visibility is improved with a redesigned and enlarged rear-quarter glass.
Furthermore, the RAV4 offers a two-tone exterior paint scheme with plenty of eye-catching color options. The black roof can be paired with stunning colors, such as Blizzard Pearl, Silver Sky Metallic, or Blueprint, for a look that’ll certainly turn heads.
Interior Features
The 2019 RAV4 also has a premium, modern-looking cabin with high-quality materials. Whether you’re off-roading in search of adventure or making a statement on city streets, these luxurious additions will have you feeling like road royalty.
There are various seating options that are available, such as Black or Mocha SofTex® seats with orange stitching. There’s an available panoramic glass roof, as well, that’ll open up the cabin and let in fresh air and natural sunlight.
For premium comfort, opt for the 8-way power-adjustable driver seat. It not only provides you with multiple seat arrangements, but it also comes with a memory function, as well. This way, you’ll have no problem finding your specific setting, even if someone else has been in the driver’s seat.
Heated and ventilated front seats are available, as well, along with heated rear seats. So, if you need to quickly warm up or cool down, you can do so with just the touch of a button no matter where you are seated.
Cargo Room
Cargo room is plentiful in the 2019 RAV4. With the 60/40 rear seats, you can fit items of various shapes and sizes while still leaving room for a backseat passenger. Simply fold the rear seats down for the most space possible behind the front row. By doing so, you’ll expand the 37.6 cubic feet of cargo behind the back rows into an impressive 69.8 cubic feet.
Plus, an available hands-free power liftgate makes it easy to access the cargo area, even when your hands are full. With a simple push of a button, the rear gate opens and closes automatically. Also, you can easily wave your foot under the rear bumper when the fob is nearby, and you don’t have you worry about using your hands at all.
Once inside, you’ll also have space for the items you’ll want to keep you close, which includes a handy shelf between the upper and lower dash-perfect for small items, like your phone.
Want to enhance your cargo area even more? With a slew of accessories, you can! Keep things clean and tidy in the back with the available cargo liner, cargo tote, carpet mat, and even a spider cargo net. These neat features keep everything in its place without shifting during the drive.
Convenience Features
Toyota makes sure that your RAV4 is ready when you are with a suite of advanced features engineered to make your commutes a breeze. With the Smart Key System, there’s no reason to search for your keys in your purse or pocket. This feature allows you to lock and unlock the doors when your fob is near by placing your hands on the handle to your door. Once you’re inside, keep those keys tucked away, as the RAV4 features a push-button start.
You can also easily keep connected to your vehicle even when you’re not inside. With Toyota Remote Connect, all you need to do is download an app on your smartphone, tablet, watch, and more, and access a great amount of tech when away from your RAV4.
You can locate your vehicle if you have forgotten where you have parked, lock your doors from inside your home, and even start the engine.
Cutting-Edge Technology
At the center of the dash in the 2019 Toyota RAV4 is a new floating touchscreen, available in seven or eight inches, for easy visibility of all your media options.
This advanced touchscreen houses the Entune™ 3.0 infotainment system. It comes with Apple CarPlay™ smartphone integration, which allows you to listen to podcasts, send text messages, and more without messing around with your phone.
You can also get a trial subscription to SiriusXM® Satellite Radio. With over 100 music, news, and sports channels to choose from, you’ll always find something new to listen to.
In addition, there’s the available Wi-Fi Connect along with hands-free access to Amazon Alexa. With this feature, you can stay connected to the internet while still keeping your focus on the road ahead.
Driver-Assisting Technologies
The tech found in the RAV4 can help keep you safe, too, with Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.0. This updated suite includes the driver-assisting technologies from the previous generation, such as:
Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection
Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist
However, this time, you’ll get additional features, such as Road Sign Assist. It’ll identify road signs, such as Stop, Yield, and Speed Limit. You’ll then get visual and audible alerts, so you can act accordingly.
It’ll also come with Lane Tracing Assist, a safety system for highway use that works in tandem with the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control system. It recognizes markings on the road to actively track the center of your lane. If you start to drift from your lane, the system will steer you back, even if your hands aren’t on the steering wheel.

Seriously—what exactly is the purpose of making an appointment?
If customers are going to arrive at their scheduled time only to have their vehicle sit and wait because the service department is backed up, then don’t call it an appointment\. Call it what it is: a scheduled time to get in line.
What made the experience even more frustrating is that I received no notification that my vehicle had even been inspected until 4:20 PM long after I had already been waiting. There was no meaningful update or communication during the process, which only added to the feeling that my time was not being respected.
On top of that, Ira Toyota was actively offering a discount to encourage customers to book these specific midday time slots. I did exactly that, showed up when I was supposed to, and was still given a two-hour turnaround for routine maintenance.
I understand dealerships get busy. I understand things happen. But if you don’t have the capacity to service customers reasonably close to their scheduled appointment time, stop offering those appointment slots—or at the very least disclose the expected wait before the customer books.
My time has value too.
Very disappointing customer experience, and definitely not what I expected when making a scheduled service appointment.
Service today was a pleasant experience. Bruce was helpful in guiding and facilitating the process. Making an appointment ahead of time before the service worked well.
Booked my rav4 in for 8am. 10/8/26 Got there 7.55.am was told it would take around 3 hrs so opted to wait. Eventually left at 3.25PM! Was informed when I asked.wait time totally unacceptable. Given a discount by person who checked me in. However very unhappy with time I had to wait - 7 and 1/2 hours.
Alex kept me informed throughout the entire process. The price was as promised. Great overall experience. Will be back soon. Overall very happy and pleased
The service advisor that I had today Angel was his name was beyond rude and condescending.
Every question I asked related to my service he responded to me as if he was speaking to a five year old. Very disrespectful and highly unprofessional. He needs training in customer service/ relations.
Cheers to bringing on Dennis! Much better service this time. Truly value the loaner car. And received much better. More professional attention this visit.
I was there from about 3 to 5 thirtyish. The cashier who was on duty at that time was extremely kind helpful, and went out of her way to assist me. I was there from about 3 to 5 thirtyish. The cashier who was on duty at that time was extremely kind helpful, and went out of her way to assist me. Friddie your janitor also gave me a hand when I needed help, I'm elderly, great attitude. The one thing that I probably dislike the most coming into your dealership is I drive my car in through the big open door to indicate I need service. A gentleman comes over very nice after he's helped other people and tells me to please stay where I am, someone will come and help me. Well after sitting in my car for five minutes, I get out and walk around wondering what the delay is. They tell me service man so-and-so is going to come and assist me. Well, another five minutes goes by and I don't want to stand out in the shop with cars coming and going. I took it upon myself and walked into where the agents were sitting behind their desks in the service department and search for the person who is to be my person, he was busy on his computer typing away. Had something important to do which is why I was kept waiting. After I stood there, I realized good customer service is the customer comes first-- you can do your typing and whatever you need to do later. most of the agents there had no one in front of them. They were just sitting there. I went up to Denise and asked can you help me and she said, of course, she very graciously went ahead and wrote up my order and got my car in for service. Most of the agent sitting there we're not doing anything so why would I be assigned to a particular person who is busy as opposed to first come first served. I don't care who writes me up. Anybody can do it, I see them twice a year I'm not trying to form a relationship. I just want to have my car processed as quickly as possible. It's bothered me every time I come into your shop because I end up standing by my car waiting for help and I feel I should be immediately able to go in and seek a person who is not doing anything and get my order written up.
IRA Toyota is great, but the waiting time is horrible. I had my appointment scheduled for about a month or so and I waited almost four hours for routine maintenance (with an appointment).
This dealership is excellent. They listen to all your needs and they solve problems. Fabiana the service manager is the highest quality professional. She knows how to treat people with respect and dignity. They know how to repair cars and get things right the first time. I will always bring my
Toyota here for service and tepairs.
Technical service has been always good. However car pick up and check out seems to take longer than it should. Often waiting for your person when others are idle. And the others can jump in and check you out.
Great that IRA Toyota sent $17.76 Oil change email coupons. NOT GREAT that it took 3 hours (8AM-11AM) to do the oil change. Then, the vehicle was 3rd in line behind empty cars and blocked to exit...so I had to ask for help to get out!
During these economic struggles thanks to our current administration, it's extremely helpful the promotions this dealer provided. Very helpful for some of us disabled living check by check.
This was the first time I’ve had a bad experience there. I had an appointment for 7:50 AM; I dropped off my car for maintenance and was told it would be ready in 2–3 hours. They sent me home via Uber, but I didn't get my car back until 5:00 PM—I wasted the whole day waiting. I called twice, but the answer was always that it wasn't ready yet (and just to clarify, it was only for basic maintenance).
Fantastic customer service! My service advisor JoJo was excellent! A true professional and was friendly and extremely accomodating! I have had only great experiences here since purchasing my 25 Rav4 XLE Premium from Kledi in November!
I had a 2pm appointment. Got there at 1:50 for just an oil change. They didn't get my truck into the shop to start it till 5:15. I didn't pay and leave till 5:55. Why make the appointment at all? Very disappointed and left irritated.
The woman/service person who took my car was not very informative. I asked about car alarms while veering me back and she said it was a safety feature that is always on, well it wasn't always on and she offered no way for me to fix it. I asked if I could get a sticker as my car is due in July she said " well you can but it's gonna say 6" which threw me off and. Said lk never mind. She was just very dry and not helpful. The whole experience was disappointing to say the least.
Don’t bother to make an appointment , they take their sweet time servicing you Waited over 3 hours for ONLY and oil change . Would have been longer if I didn’t ask what was going on . Clearly they overbook
Took six hours for an oil change, rotation, and alignment with an appointment. It was only after four hours when they recommended additional services and they weren’t even done the original work, that again, was scheduled. Denise was very nice though!
Great sales. My 2026 Corolla has a window that doesn’t go up/down properly. Twice it has been in and still not fixed. MA lemon law applies once they cannot fix it in 3 tries.
I’ll be headed back this week again.
The most disorganized and rudest service I have ever gotten at a dealership. From the intake person who was the most unprofessional at drop off to pick up at the end. They even had me go out to locate my car among a sea of cars. So glad I only took my car there to be serviced and didnt purchase a vehicle from them. Trust me, go anywhere but there. Not worth the aggravation.
Went in for a 5,000 service which is just topping fluids and rotating tires. Took two hours!! And when checking in was asked if I wanted it washed. I said yes but it wasn’t washed. This is my first service experience. Hoping this isn’t the norm.
I had a 11:20 appointment for an oil change. I had to wait 3:30 hours to get the job done. You need to speed things up. I have bought 4 cars from IRA - right now I am disappointed with your service department.
Service was excellent. Willie my service Coordinator Was polite at intentive he’s my bad every time I come to have a service done on our 2013 Camry hybrid. Thank you Willie
My car is 6 years old & have had it serviced at Ira Toyota since purchasing it. I have had no issues with any service I’ve had done there. It is easy to get an appointment when you want at the time you want. All the service advisers I have worked with have been courteous & friendly.
Great Customer Service from Ashley, the tire specialist, after the wrong tires were mounted on my RAV4 Hybrid. The correct tires will be re-ordered today. I am waiting for notification with an estimated delivery date.
Great experience at Ira Toyota. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They made the process smooth, answered all my questions, and helped me purchase the right vehicle without any pressure. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used car.
They always accommodate the customer and make every effort to resolve problems. In my case, they persuaded the manufacturer to replace the defective tires even after the warranty had extended.
My wife and I have been going to Ira Toyota Scion in Danvers, MA, for many years to service all four of our Toyota vehicles. In the past, we always worked with different service advisors until we met Steven Mahan five years ago. We have continued working with him ever since.
We love working with him. He is friendly, knowledgeable, understanding, and helpful in every way.
Good experience even though it took three weeks to complete ,waiting on parts and. Ok from Toyota. Everything worked out because I was on vacation didn’t need the car. Great cooperation from Ira service department.
Went in to lease a Corolla. Clint was very helpful throughout the entire process - even advising with steps for my insurance and old registration. He always maintained a friendly and cordial attitude. When it was pickup time for the car, Clint had everything ready to go and walked me through all features as well as gave tips. Good experience!
This is an added comment to my previous survey I just completed. I told the Service Advisor that the hood prop was in my car, on the floor. It still is. Why did they not put it back in?? Its come off twice and a nice worker at an auto store snapped it back in and they wanted to charge me $223?!! I will look for a different Toyota dealer when my lease is up. I’ve been a loyal customer for approx 15 yrs and I was very mistreated thru this whole process!
The wait was long for a simple oil change and tire rotation. I pointed out an issue with the driver side headlamp and they gave me some xx excuse as to why they couldn't fix it despite me having a bumper to bumper warranty.
I had the best experience at Ira Toyota of Danvers. They were extremely accommodating and so friendly. The staff really made the experience that much more enjoyable. Would highly recommend!
Would have liked some in person updates from the advisor in addition to the text message/email updates. Otherwise the work provided seems to make a positive difference in vehicle's performance so far.
Gary Cooper who sold me the car was outstanding. No high pressure sales or pushy sales tactics. He sold my Daughter a vehicle and she is very happy too. Before I purchased the car, Gary said as long as I have excellent credit I should not have to pay more than 5%. When doing the finance paperwork I asked Cassandra about the interest rate I was receiving but somehow we got off topic and I never received an answer. Once home I called to inquire about the rate and when I was told that I was receiving a 7.5% rate. Needless to ... Read More

When doing the finance paperwork I asked Cassandra about the interest rate I was receiving but somehow we got off topic and I never received an answer. Once home I called to inquire about the rate and when I was told that I was receiving a 7.5% rate. Needless to say I was not happy. Gary called me and said it was a mistake and fixed it to 4.99. which at the time is the deal Toyota is doing. I was over the top impressed. He is fantastic and Cassandra in Finance had to go home sick so I'm thinking she was not feeling well which maybe caused her to miss the interest rate question but that's on me too. Overall I would definitely return and recommend anyone I know to go to the dealership to purchase a vehicle.
I had a great experience at Ira Toyota of Danvers. The team helped me get my car on time without any delays, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish.
They were helpful, professional, and made sure everything was ready when promised. I really appreciated how straightforward and efficient they were.
Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a hassle-free car buying experience.
Nice big waiting area, on 114 close to 95/128 & Rt One. They treat you like a valued customer. Because I needed a fair amount of work done, they gave me a loaner car. I think they had to order a set of tires. The work was done right around their closing time on the second day.
I made an appointment for an oil change and waited 3 1/2 hours. I was told my car had no issues even though I had several issues the last time I was there but I didn’t do them. I asked why and was told they didn’t have time to inspect my car. How long does it take for an oil change! Originally I was told 1 1/2-2 hours. Assuming they inspect your car with it, I agreed. Shame on Toyota for their poor service!
The staff were highly professional and courteous throughout my visit. They took excellent care of my truck, and I especially appreciated the detailed follow-up at the end, including a video and comprehensive information about the work performed. Overall, it was a great experience.
I was told that my car would be ready at 4pm (I had left it since 7am). I kept being told it was almost done...then by 6pm someone told me it wouldn't be ready until the next day (without even looking into it). My keys were finally found abandoned on a desk which no one seemed to know anything about or take ownership for. The entire process was a mess!!!
My service Angel Pimentel was really helpful, everything else was abismal. A 2 hour service turned into 4.5 hours 2 of the 4.5 hours was after I was told my truck would be ready in about 10 minutes.
waiting for customer service in the service bay is very bad. I was waiting for 15-20 minutes for a service person to help me until the greeter notice me standing for too long.
the whole dealership is something special from sale department to the auto repair shop, when to repair one tire it take 5 hours to do balance rotation and repair one tire, don’t know what to say about it. the sale department just overrated they just want to sell cars plus insurance in cars dont really listen to customers and avoid people that are just looking around, watch all this while waiting for my repair of 5 hours.
The people working here are pleasant and helpful. I have been going to IRA for years. It is a great place to wait while car is being serviced. Multiple tvs, a place to get food and drinks, a playroom for children to play or a separate room if you have work to do. It is a comfort that I am told what work I will be needing. My car is running great after 12 yrs of being serviced.
Edwin Alcantara was very professional
and answered our questions and listened
to our concerns.
We had a multipoint inspection and oil change and everything that goes with it.
Even saw a video showing what they did
on our actual car. Never expected that!
We like it here in Danvers and will continue to do business here.
Thank you,
Vance and Diana Garry
